There was a class-action lawsuit by owners of the software, but I have no idea the outcome. Today, yahoo won't even accept questions regarding their doomed "yahoo music" software, that pissed off a good portion of the music world when they fouled things up so badly, then dropped the software like a baby in a dumpster outside of Prom. It was the only salvation I was going to find after yahoo did their number on the lifetime software I purchased at a pretty penny during it's time. Reran NeatMP3 Pro and was all set to pain stakingly add to my already sorted group of files. Moved all the ,mp3s to an empty folder where I ran The Godfather to rename them. Opened up the sorted folder and did a search on "*.mp3". When all was done the program sorted out all 272 song files into Artist/CD Title folder format less than 20 seconds. I filled in/corrected the tag info on all that popped up.
The program runs through your list and stops at each song file that does not have all the tags filled in. Hit the "Start" button as with all other settings. Left the default to sort by "Artist'Title". Would be nice if they updated when scrolling with the up & down arrows. Noticed that the "Info" and "Output Preview" fields only updated when a file was clicked on. Loaded up a folder of 272 individual MP3s that I hadn't categorized into Artist - Album/CD Title folders.
